Newsletter: Dec, 2013

The December, 2013 newsletter is finally available.  For those whose email addresses we have, the electronic version is the only version you should expect (if you get both the email and the snail mail, please let us know).

I also invite you to log in to the site and add your comments below.

Website updates

Take a quick peek around - you should be able to add events to our online calendar (Add content -> Event), and even create your own blog.  There is a new financial reports forum for our Financial Secretary and Treasurer reports, making them a bit easier to find from the rest of the reports.

I'll continue to try to add stuff to the site, if you have any ideas, please post them to the Site Suggestions forum.  Thanks!

Members asked to attend First Degree Oct 10 OLPH

Our Council is hosting and conducting a First Degree Initiation tomorrow night, Oct 10 at OLPH Church. There will be approx 20 candidates. Many of these are coming from other councils.

It is very important to have our members present.  We need to be there to support the new members, to help support OUR DEGREE TEAM,  and to welcome the new members in to the Knights of Columbus.

Council Project Ideas

One idea that came up at our council meeting was to find some sort of project we could do as a council.  Some councils do things like help Habitat for Humanity.  In the past, we've helped out at Bosco Homes, with things like building a playground.
